On 4 July 2025, at 15.00, the War Museum invites you to a lecture-discussion ‘Dubno Outpost Fort (Tarakaniv Fort): from drawings to the military trials of the First World War’.
Andrii Shvachko, a military historian, re-enactor and guide, will talk about the innovative ideas that were implemented during the construction of the Dubno Outpost Fort and the challenges it faced during the First World War.
The event will be moderated by Olena Datsiuk, a senior researcher at the Museum.
This is an opportunity to dive into the dramatic history of one of the most interesting examples of fortification architecture in Ukraine.
