President Volodymyr Zelenskyy congratulated the warriors on the Day of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and presented them with state awards.
The Head of State presented combat flags to the commanders of the 141st Mechanized Brigade, the 414th Separate Brigade of Unmanned Strike Aviation Systems “Birds of Madyar,” the 425th Separate Assault Regiment “Skelya,” and the 108th Separate Assault Battalion “Da Vinci Wolves” of the 59th Assault Brigade named after Yakiv Handziuk. He also presented the commander of the 42nd Mechanized Brigade with a ribbon bearing its designation in honor of the Hero of Ukraine Valerii Hudz.
The President also honored three Heroes of Ukraine with the Orden of the Gold Star and presented the orders to the families of the fallen Heroes.
The ceremonies took place with the participation of representatives of the highest state leadership and military command of Ukraine. The Prime Minister of Ukraine, Yuliia Svyrydenko, also attended the event. Taking the opportunity, she visited the Museum and familiarized herself with the Museum’s exhibition projects.
It is a great honor for our institution to once again become the venue for honoring and celebrating Ukrainian warriors at the state level.
