The National Museum of the History of Ukraine in the Second World War hosted the “Open GLAM in Ukraine – Training Program”, organised by Wikimedia Sverige with the support of the Swedish Institute and in cooperation with the NGO Wikimedia Ukraine.
Ukrainian museum professionals, librarians and archivists explored Wikimedia tools that help preserve and increase the visibility of Ukraine’s cultural heritage, which remains under constant threat of destruction due to Russian aggression, and present it to the world.
The War Museum has been a partner of the programme since its launch. We are proud to be part of an initiative that will bring meaningful results for Ukraine’s cultural sector.
