Workshop “Novice Pilot”
You will visit the exhibition of military equipment and weaponry, where our guides will introduce you to the arms and combat vehicles of the 20th century, including samples of aviation from the Second World War and the Cold War. Feel like a real pilot at the controls of the Li-2 aircraft!
Guided Tour of the Exhibition “Memory. Interchange”
We invite you to a guided tour in the space of the joint Ukrainian–German project “Memory. Dialogues”, which immerses you in the intricate twists of destinies across decades. Family memory of the Second World War, the reinterpretation of lived experience, and reconciliation between Ukrainian and German peoples are revealed through historical artifacts and contemporary art.
Foreign-Language Tours at the War Museum (English, Italian, French)
Do you study foreign languages at school or with a tutor? Attend online courses or just want to expand your vocabulary? It’s time to visit the War Museum! We invite you to foreign-language tours during which, together with our guides, you will deepen your skills in practice and enrich your vocabulary with military-historical terminology. Let’s unite our love for language and history!
Educational Quest “Historical Mosaic: The Second World War”
Does your child want to feel like a researcher of the events of the Second World War? The museum exhibition awaits! Interactive tasks will be waiting for our young visitors in every hall: schoolchildren will have the opportunity to explore the map of Europe on the eve of the war, study contemporary correspondence, get acquainted with a universal naval communication system, and learn much more.
Workshop “Visual History of the Liberation Struggles”
Are you interested in the First World War and the military history of Ukraine? We invite you to a family activity: assemble puzzles based on the themes of the liberation struggles or create your own artwork inspired by events in Ukrainian history, which you will learn about together with our guides.
Flash mob for the Week of Ukrainian Written Language and Literature
The War Museum invites you to a special event – a thematic tour about the Ukrainian language during the Second World War and the russian–Ukrainian wars. Explore with us the fates of teachers, students, Ukrainians in emigration, and the role language played for each of them. In the interactive part of the event, you will learn to write with a quill, just as previous generations did in past eras.
Creative Workshop “Re-Imaging”
We invite you to a workshop where you will see and hear the story behind the paintings exhibited in “War: Reverse Perspective”. Using prepared templates, you will supplement the artists’ works with your own reflections. We encourage you to share your emotions, add to existing works, or – inspired – create your own.
